April 2026 reading is a wrap! Did you have a favorite April read?
April 2026 Reading Wrap Up

April Summary: Out of eleven books completed, I had one 5-star read and ten (!) 4-star reads. This was a stellar reading month except for one DNF.
My most compelling and page-turning fiction read in April was The Heiress and the Woodsman by Christina Hill Suntz.
Ryland Grace from Project Hail Mary (book and movie!) is my April Captivating Character of the month. I read the book in 2021, but I saw the movie in April (2026) and was once again captivated by the character! My blog feature, Captivating Characters of the Month, is hosted by yours truly (details in the linked post). Check it out and link up (blog post, goodreads reviews, etc.) with me!

The writing is fine. I cannot handle the child abuse content. If this doesn’t trouble you, your reading experience will differ from mine. I have enjoyed other books by the author.
