Today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is April Showers, so I’m inspired to provide a list of rainy day reads! These are all short stories/novellas or gently written essays. They are mostly cozy reads and can be read in one rainy afternoon or evening.
10 Rainy Day Reads

What do you enjoy reading on rainy days?
A note of clarification: novella and short story designations tend to be used interchangeably. Generally, a novella is 200 pages or under and a short story is 65 pages or less (a short novella). In assigning categories today, I took the page count from Amazon, Kindle edition. Page counts vary between formats and editions. It’s murky.
