Do you have bookish books (books about books) on your bookshelf? How many bookish books do you read in one year?

Susan @ BlogginBoutBooks posted her 2025 Bookish Books Reading Challenge, and I immediately knew that this was a perfect way to track all the books about books I read in a year. Do you love a challenge that you know you’ll master before you start?! I’m not great about remembering to link up monthly, so this will be all the books about books I’ve read so far in 2025 and will be my June entry. See my 2024 Bookish Books Wrap Up here.

I do love a bookish book. Thanks for linking up.
Hi, Carol – Thank you for linking up with us. Books about books sound very appealing to me, but…when I review my recent reads on Goodreads, I really don’t seem to read many of them at all. I have no idea why that is. I did recently read ‘No Two Persons’ which is kinda a book about a book. I highly recommend it!
I love No Two Persons!
I love books about books!
So fun!
I have only read three of your bookish books, Carol! Now I am wondering just how many other books about books I have read this year. Great post. ๐๐
Iโm sure Iโve read a few of your recs!
I love books about books too! I’ve read 8 so far this year including the one I’ve just finished, Book Boyfriend by Lucy Vine.
Itโs seems like there are so many lately! Or maybe a new marketing gimmickโฆput the word book in the title and itโs a magnet for readers!
[…] mystery. While we’re on the topic, Carol at Reading Ladies posted this check-in yesterday: Bookish Books Bad People, Good ArtโJames Lloyd Dulin wrote a very good guest post on a (sadly) evergreen […]
Thanks! ๐ป๐๐
