Do you have bookish books (books about books) on your bookshelf? How many bookish books do you read in one year?

Bookish Books Reading Challenge 2025

Susan @ BlogginBoutBooks posted her 2025 Bookish Books Reading Challenge, and I immediately knew that this was a perfect way to track all the books about books I read in a year. Do you love a challenge that you know you’ll master before you start?! I’m not great about remembering to link up monthly, so this will be all the books about books I’ve read so far in 2025 and will be my June entry. See my 2024 Bookish Books Wrap Up here.

  1. Hi, Carol – Thank you for linking up with us. Books about books sound very appealing to me, but…when I review my recent reads on Goodreads, I really don’t seem to read many of them at all. I have no idea why that is. I did recently read ‘No Two Persons’ which is kinda a book about a book. I highly recommend it!

  2. I have only read three of your bookish books, Carol! Now I am wondering just how many other books about books I have read this year. Great post. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ“š

  3. I love books about books too! I’ve read 8 so far this year including the one I’ve just finished, Book Boyfriend by Lucy Vine.

    • Itโ€™s seems like there are so many lately! Or maybe a new marketing gimmickโ€ฆput the word book in the title and itโ€™s a magnet for readers!

  4. Hi Carol, I’ve only read one of these on your list which really surprises me! What a great idea to look at books about books, when I have a moment I’ll have a look at my lists and see if I can add any! Thanks for joining us for #WOYBS, it’s always great to have your posts.
