What is U.S. Flag Day?
June 14, 1777 is the date the U.S. Flag was adopted …. no official holiday…..just a date to fly your flag👍😍🇺🇸 and a good opportunity for a book blogger to create a book list!
Aha thanks we don’t have anything like that over here.
I would say most people here aren’t even aware of it! I taught 5th grade for 14 years and U.S. History is a focus of social studies so I always mentioned it to the students 👍🇺🇸
I had already published my Friday review earlier in the day (The Cactus) and then realized it was the 14th and sent the flag post later Friday. I’ve never posted twice in a day before so that felt good!!! 👍😂
Excellent!😀
Love these choices, Carol! I see so many I want to read!
Thanks Jennifer! 😍👍
