Books with Flowers in the Titles

Books with Flowers in the Titles (text over a field of red flowers)

I’m linking up today with That Artsy Reader Girl for Top Ten Tuesday: Covers with Fall Vibes. Hummm….I’m not a cover person. I rehomed all my physical books and bookshelves, so I don’t spend time rearranging books by color or genre or alphabetically. Because I don’t have physical books lying around, I don’t notice covers several times a day. I read on Kindle or a Libby app, so I rarely look at the cover. Bottom line, I’ve got nothing for fall cover vibes today. Therefore, I’m going rogue and creating a list of books with flowers in the titles.

I have not reviewed all of these books. Titles are linked to my reviews when available.

  1. I always have trouble with cover themed topics for the same reason as you… plus I’m too lazy to pull books off shelves to try to find suitable covers. I like you flower theme, great idea.

  2. Haha, it must be the genres I read, but for all of 2024 and 2025, I do not have one single book with a flower in the title! (I don’t read much historical fiction, for instance.) However, I want to say, that I have noticed such an upswing in flower COVERS! For books that have nothing to do with flowers and I can’t see the connection! I will cut my list down to 10, but I found nearly 30 books with gorgeous floral covers (like still lifes): We Are the Brennans, The Connollys of County Down, One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot, Eddie Winston is Looking for Love, The Essex Serpent, The Name, When Women Were Dragons, 1000 Doors of January, The Stationery Shop and The Family Upstairs! And there are so many more, and that’s not counting all the books with TREES on the cover, or falling leaves! You sent me down a ‘cover art’ rabbit hole…..

  4. I have just finished The Sweet Smell of Magnolias and Memories, Carol, which I enjoyed. I also enjoyed A Fall of Marigolds, The Rose Code and The Lilac Girls. Lovely post. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ“š

  5. I think going rogue was a brilliant idea! I’m completely drawn to titles with flowers in them, and your list is fantastic. I’ve read and loved *The Rose Code*, and I am always looking for more historical fiction, so **A Fall of Marigolds** has definitely caught my eye. Martha Hall Kelly’s trilogy with all the flower titles is very clever!

    What a beautiful selection!

    • I can highly recommend Fall of Marigolds! One of my fav Meissner titles! (Sorry for the delayed response… I found your comment in spam).
