My Summary:
The Tolliver family owns and operates a Christmas Tree farm in the mountains of North Carolina. Every year, their trees are cut, loaded up, and sold at their pop-up family tree stand in Greenwich Village (New York City). This year, it falls to Kerry to help her brother sell the trees because of their father’s health. Life in the camper isn’t ideal and Kerry and her gruff brother have completely different styles. This is a story of running a small family business, a brother/sister relationship, and a close-knit community with a side of romance and HEA (happily ever after).

QOTD:
Do you love reading a Christmas story any time of year?

I quite like the idea of this book, although in general I’m not a huge fan of the festive period. It overwhelms me with all that need for a ‘perfect holiday’.
I get that! This one is more messy than perfect! Although, heartwarming in the end.
You made me smile this morning when I read your review of BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CHRISTMAS in your newsletter. I loved this book!
Itโs a memorable story and stands out from the rest! Keep smiling and happy reading!
I don’t review Christmas books on my blog until November so I guess I start reading in October! ๐
Carla @ Carla LovesToRead is a bad influence! ๐๐๐
Great choice, Carol. This was one of my favourite Christmas stories when I read it a couple of years ago. I definitely recommend it.
Lots of depth to it!
