Rather than talk about DNFs, I’m talking about ten page-turners that you will NOT want to DNF!

Each time I write a review of a book I’ve DNF’d (did not finish) or compose a post about my DNFs, I feel bad! I don’t especially enjoy “yucking on someone’s yum” or causing authors to feel bad or discounting the reading experiences of others.
So when I pondered this week’s TTT prompt, I knew I didn’t have the mindset to discuss my DNFs. I have plenty of them…don’t worry! Today, I’m putting a positive spin on the TTT prompt by suggesting ten books I don’t think you will want to DNF, keeping in mind that no two persons read the same book. That Artsy Reader Girl: Top Ten Tuesday.

Some of you may wonder why “not-to-be-missed” Project Hail Mary didn’t make this list since I include it on most of my lists! LOL First, I want to give some other books a chance. Then, I’m not sure of its wide appeal. If you do read it, the audio format is highly recommended!

QOTD:
I chose the first ten that came to mind! I could keep going!
Do you have a book you would add to this list?
Happy Reading Book Buddies!
โAh, how good it is to be among people who are reading.โ
~Rainer Maria Rilke
โI love the world of words, where life and literature connect.โ
~Denise J Hughes
โReading good books ruins you for enjoying bad ones.โ
~Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
โI read because books are a form of transportation, of teaching, and of connection! Books take us to places weโve never been, they teach us about our world, and they help us to understand human experience.โ

I agree with you regarding talking about DNF books. I never name the book. These are all new to me books. Thanks for the recommendations!
Thanks for understanding about the DNFs! Itโs tricky! Thanks for stopping by Carla!
These look interesting. I feel bad too, so I have done a similar topic to you!!
Have a great week!

Iโm hopping to take a look at your list! Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you. That’s ok ๐
Love your twist Carol. I’ve gone for it and named my DNFs for a change!
Thanks! I recognized one of yours as a DNF and another one as an almost DNF! ๐
A lovely twist on this week’s theme, Carol. Thanks for visiting my blog โค๏ธ
Thanks! ๐
Ooh, I like this twist!
Thanks Lydia! ๐ผ
I have loved reading both of Kate Moore’s books, she writes them in a way that draws you in and holds you there. They aren’t like reading textbooks.

Absolutely agree! ๐ฏ
Fabulous twist on the theme. I haven’t read any of these!
Thanks Joanne! All tbr worthy!
Nice topic, but I think as consumers we should talk, respectfully, about why we DNF a book. But, your page, your topic! Good work!
Thanks!
I like your topic! I also didn’t want to talk about DNFs and had to change the topic a little.
Thanks! Iโm hopping over to read your postโฆ..
Nice twist, Carol. I didn’t do a TTT this week, because of the same reasons you mentioned. I have read half of these and have a few of them on my TBR shelf. Nice choices, Carol.
Thanks Carla! Iโd rather promote books I love than give more publicity to those I havenโt enjoyed.
Nothing wrong with DNFing a book, there are too many good ones to waste your time with the ones that do not click with you. These titles are all new to me except for The Girl With the Louding Voice I won’t be able to read it due to the things she is going through as a 14 year old…. But i loved Project Hail Mary and I did listen to the audiobook highly recommend it too ๐
Thanks for stopping by and commentingโฆ. PHM is an amazing audio experience! ๐ eager for a movie!
