Christmas Thoughts 2024

Merry Christmas (2024) to Everyone Who Celebrates!

Christmas scene (a girl holding a stack of books walks outside a bookstore decorated for Christmas...snow is falling)

Merry Christmas 2024 book friends! I hope you and your loved ones are well, and I think of those who might be grieving a loss or fearing for their safety or well-being. I continue my prayers for the people of war-ravaged countries.

As I reflect on 2024, I realize that blogging and sharing book reviews with you has brought me a tremendous amount of joy. I greatly appreciate your support, comments, likes, and shares! Thank you! I treasure the virtual friendships that blogging has brought into my life!

Hope and Joy

At Christmastime, we have HOPE and JOY and whatever your traditions, I wish each of you healthy and safe holiday celebrations surrounded by your loved ones. Take a minute amidst the chaos and clutter of Christmas Morning (or Eve) to sit quietly and memorize the GRACE.

I’m taking a small blogging break and I’ll be back in a few days with my favorites of the year post. Until then….here are a few of my favorite songs….

My fav verse from It Came Upon a Midnight Clear:
And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow,
Look now! for glad and golden hours
come swiftly on the wing.
O rest beside the weary road,
And hear the angels sing!

“Hallelujah Chorus”

Merry Christmas

  1. Merry Christmas to you too Carol. I love O Holy Night although actually, it’s Josh Groban’s version that’s probably my favourite. Hope you have a wonderful day x
