Ten Favorite Books With Character Names in the Title
I’m linking up today with That Artsy Reader Girl: Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books With Character Names in the Title
“I LOVE these characters!”
I don’t normally post twice in one day but I couldn’t help joining today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt because I can’t miss an opportunity to share memorable characters (8 adult titles and 2 middle grade titles) with you! Do you see any favorites?

I’ve read and enjoyed three of your ten, Carol. Eudora, Harold Fry and Britt-Marie. ❤📚
Such great characters! 😍🙌
Definitely!
Great choices Carol. I have read 7 of these books and enjoyed them all. I need to add the other 3 to my TBR, actually, only 1 as 2 of them are already on there.
I love that we’re book twins! 🙌
I did ten books that I hope to read this year and A Man Called Ove was on my list. https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2022/02/top-ten-tuesday-character-names.html
I can’t wait for you to meet Ove! ❤️
I’ve heard good things about A Man Called Ove!

He’s lovable! ❤️
Great list! I always enjoy Fredrik Backman’s books, and I really liked Eleanor Oliphant and Harold Fry too!
My TTT
Truly unforgettable characters!
I knew that Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine was going to make your list because you reread it January (see, I pay attention).
I already replied to your tweet with Harry Potter. In January, I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. A solid 4-star read. I’m slowly making my way through Taylor Jenkins Reid’s back list.
Other ones I really liked were Arthur & George by Julian Barnes and Little Bee by Chris Cleave. I had to pick a classic, it would be The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Ha! I’m writing a review of Eleanor today because I’ve never officially reviewed it on the blog! Thanks for your noting some titles (I forgot about Gatsby!) … and for paying attention! 😂😂😂
All I can think is Rebecca and Jane Eyre but the names ARE the titles😂
Good ones! 😂
Great list, Carol. I don’t share a single name with anyone. So far. I have read Ove and Harold Fry but I chose titles with just a name. It’s great to see so many names coming up.
My TTT this week.
It was a fun prompt!
Oh goodness! You listed some I completely forgot about, namely A Man Called Ove & AJ Fikry! And I have Eleanor Oliphant on my radar this past year. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure! This was a fun prompt! I hope you love brave Eleanor!
Jane Eyre??! (It’s time I gave that one a re read!)
Good one!
What a great top ten idea! I seriously can’t think of any right now. 🙈
Thanks Tralyn!
I read Ove but found it so depressing! I’m definitely in the minority on that one.
That’s ok! We each have different reading experiences.
