Happy U.S. Mother’s Day
To everyone who is celebrating this weekend!
Are you looking for a book gift for Mom or Grandma or a woman who’s been like a mother to you? Or to treat yourself?
Many readers who read a LOT, read historical fiction. So, if the woman you’re buying a gift for is an avid reader, chances are that she will like histfic.
Here are 5 of my recent favorite histfic reads!

What a lovely post, Carol. It made me smile. That picture of you and your mom is precious!
I am anxious to read several of those you listed, but especially The Last Bookshop in London. In fact it is waiting for me at the library, but unfortunately our library services are on pause because they had to relocate in order to remodel the original building. Not sure when services will unpause.
Have a great Mother’s Day!

What a wonderful post Carol. I love that picture of you and your mom, so cute. I hope you had a chance to see or at least talk to your mom today. Great list of books, I have read 2 and 3 of them on my TBR for the next month, I hope. I love those flowers and their meanings. Such great choices. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day! 💐💐
