Spring Reading Season TBR (2021)

For spring, these are the ten books prioritized on my TBR Mountain. Three are carry overs from my Winter TBR.…for various reasons including distraction, too many ARCs, and availability from the library. Four are ARC (advanced reader copy) commitments. three are from my general TBR list. They are a mix of genres, and I’m hoping for some winners here. Have you read any of these or is one on your TBR?
I never plan more than ten titles for my quarterly TBR lists because I need to leave time for mood reading and review commitments. These ten books (in no particular order) are a priority on a much longer general TBR.
What is your most anticipated read this spring?
I’m linking up today with That Artsy Reader Girl for Top Ten Tuesday: Spring 2021 To Be Read List.

~Rainer Maria Rilke
“I love the world of words, where life and literature connect.”
~Denise J Hughes
“Reading good books ruins you for enjoying bad ones.”
~Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Oh! Is Pull of The Stars MG? I did not realise that and it has been sitting waiting to be read for a while now – Room was just so powerful!
These are the books on my Spring TBR list!
Oh my gosh! Thanks for catching that! I meant to pull that and put another title there!!! Yes Room was amazing! I’m hopping over now to edit my post! I owe you one!
And I’m hopping over to read your post, too!
I’m right at the end of it, and it’s definitely not MG.
No it’s not MG! 😱 I made a huge mistake and meant to put on Number the Stars! I fixed it in the post almost right away but you probably saw the unedited first version. I’m sooo sorry! I was distracted and working too late at night. Pull of Stars was on my TBR and I mistakenly chose it. I’m very sorry for any confusion I caused. Please forgive me.
The Rose Code sounds very good, hope you’ll enjoy it! Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/upcoming-readathons-and-spring-tbr/
I’m sooo eager to read it! Thanks for commenting and leaving your link..I’m hopping over now!
The Rose Code is such a wonderful read Carol. It will be worth the wait. In the meantime watch The Imitation Game if you haven’t seen it yet
Yes…I made note! Is it on Netflix?
I definitely want to read The Rose Code and the Anne Youngson book which has a different title in the UK!
It took me a long time to figure out the title of the Youngson book in the U.S. 😂 I was disappointed to not get an arc of Rose Code. I think I’ll buy it because it’s a 6 month + wait at the library.
I requested the audiobook and it’s still pending, so I think it’ll be a library loan at some time, if they get it in!
Maybe I’ll buy it for my mom for u.s. Mothers day and read it first! 😂
I hope you like The Forest of Vanishing Stars.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Thanks! I’m hopping over to read your post now!
What a great spring lineup, Carol💜 I just got The Windsor Knot, too.
Thanks Jonetta! I’ve been on the library wait list for a few months and it should be available shortly. I hope we both enjoy it!
Oh, Bird by Bird! Yes. Wonderful.
Thanks!
Number the Stars was excellent. Hope you like it!

Always fun to see your lists. My sons read “Number the Stars” when they were in school. Enjoy.
My TTT.
I love catching up on well loved MG reads I’ve missed! I’m hopping over now to read your post.
And thanks for coming by. Yes, you’re right, I read quite a few of the books my sons left behind, will have to see whether “Number the Stars” is among them or whether one of them took them with them.
Enjoy.
Looks like a great list! I’m always up for an intriguing historical, so most of the ones you’ve mentioned are on my TBR mountain chain as well. I have read BIRD BY BIRD and NUMBER THE STARS. I especially liked the latter.
Happy TTT!

Thanks Susan! Happy spring reading! I’m hopping over to read your post now.
Bird by Bird and Number the Stars are two of my very favorite books ever!! I read Number the Stars to my class of 4th graders every year when I was teaching. And Anne LaMott is at her best here. Not just for writers but for anyone who has a project to tackle… Taking notes here Carol!
Thanks for the endorsements! There is no excuse for not having read Number the Stars! Better late than never! I’m eager to read the Lamott! Happy reading Rhonda!
Yay its getting there, longer days now!
I’m so eager for spring this year!
