Do you love books set in hotels or inns? I have a few recommendations today!

Coffee Mug: Yes, I really do need all these books (a tall stack of books)

I’m linking up today with That Artsy Reader Girl for Top Ten Tuesday. I’m going rogue, because I have very few titles for the official prompt. I have been collecting books where the main setting is a hotel or inn, so I thought this might be a good day to share them. Although I have read all the books on this list, I have not reviewed all of them.

  1. Well, I think A Gentleman in Moscow trumps them all! I can’t even think of any other novels set in a hotel, besides the ones you mentioned— So I googled it and came up with The Maid by Nita Prose! All of that series is set in a hotel! As well as, going way back, Hotel by Arthur Hailey. Side point: My mother and I adored “Gentleman” but we did not like the series so much. It was dark and seemed to dwell on the dark aspects, rather than the many whimsical and loving and light moments, the amazement of how he lived in the Hotel so long and lived a full life! See what you think.

  2. I do not yet have a favorite hotel/inn book, but I do have two on my TBR that I am on the verge of reading at any moment: The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel & Stephen King’s The Shining.

    Love this theme!

  3. I still haven’t read The Gentleman in Moscow, but I fully intend to. I have read many of the others and they are good picks.
