Welcome to #ThrowBackThursday where I highlight an older review or post a current review of a backlist title. This week, I’m featuring a (chaste) Regency Romance, The Ladies Rewrite the Rules by Suzanne Allain.
I’m linking up with Davida @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog for #ThrowbackThursday.
My Summary:
A wealthy young widow, Diana Boyle has no intention of marrying again. One day, she discovers that she’s listed in a directory of rich, single women. She’s furious and confronts the publisher of the Bachelor’s Directory, Maxwell Dean. Complications arise when she discovers that he’s quite handsome. Nevertheless, she gathers the women in the directory together toโtake control of the situation and trick the fortune hunters. A daring power move.
