My Summary:
Laurel works as the social media manager for an Ohio tourism magazine and website. She often writes about her sister’s instragram-worthy farm. Her boss thinks it’s her farm (she doesn’t correct him) and invites himself for Christmas so he can experience the setting and traditions. Laurel panics because she fears she might lose her job if she tells him the truth. She sets out to trick her boss into thinking she’s the Martha Stewart of rural life. Things become complicated when a man (she dislikes) is chosen by her sister to play the role of husband. More complications arise when they are snowed in the entire weekend of Christmas Eve. If you are familiar with the classic movie, Christmas in Connecticut, this is a loose retelling.
Hilarious, silly, and festive…

QOTD:
Do you read Christmas books any time of year?

You just know there is going to be so much fun trouble with this tale.
It is entertaining!
This was a fun one, Carol. Good choice to highlight it again.
I had to watch the movie after finishing the book!
