My Summary:

Three generations of a family live with a strange “condition”: In every generation, at least one person dies by drowning. The Covenant of Water is a story of faith, generational hardships, sacrifice, medicine, and culture.

Are you curious about the highlights and lowlights of my reading experience?

QOTD:

Are you an Abraham Verghese fan?

  1. I actually bought this last month so it is currently the only book on my physical TBR pile It was an impulse buy and I’m still waiting for the right moment to begin reading it. What was slightly irritating was the fact that I spotted a copy in the library two weeks later. I enjoyed your review and will bear in mind your comments about Digby and being taken away from the main story.
