Books that feature weather can be especially atmospheric as the weather becomes a plot device.

I could only find a couple of books on my shelves that featured weather in the title, so I’m tweaking this prompt to curate a list of books that feature weather as part of the setting. Weather can make a story especially atmospheric. Do you have favorite titles to add?

Out of the Dust was on someone else’s list, too. It sounds good.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
It is beautifully written (in open verse) but it’s incredibly sad.
Reading about a hurricane would be cool for sure.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I’d rather read about one than be in one!
The Light Pirate
Thanks! 🙌
I thought this would be a hard topic but this is an awesome list! I did the goals topic at https://onereadingnurse.com/2023/10/16/top-ten-tuesday-bookish-goals-i-still-want-to-achieve-this-year/
The Last Train to Key West is a great example of hurricanes. I loved that book.
It was dramatic!
An interesting twist on the theme. I like the humour in your sub titles especially Baby It’s Cold Outside
Thanks Karen! 🙌
When Summer Never Came, A Pride and Prejudice fan fiction
Thanks! 🙌
Good work! I also enjoyed Last Train to Key West and The Dry
Brilliant list, Carol.
My TTT features mainly snow and storm this week.
