10 Books Set Near Water #TopTenTuesday
What is the last book you read set near water?
I’m linking up today with That Artsy Reader Girl for Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Gladly Throw Into the Ocean. I had decided to skip this week’s topic, but then when I was reading other blogs today, I was inspired by What Cathy Read Next to SPIN it!
My reason for spinning the topic is 1) I don’t enjoy revisiting/promoting books that I haven’t enjoyed 2) I wouldn’t throw a book in the ocean or any water no matter how much I disliked it 3) What I dislike you might love and 4) I fear hurting an author’s feelings by calling her/him out on a dislike list.
So, ALL of these books set near water I enthusiastically recommend!

It’s a book that I liked upon first read and now I’m not as in love with it as I was at first…I really didn’t like the ending. I’m hopping over to read your post!
For some light reading, I recommend Shipped by Angie Hockman. It’s a contemporary romance novel set on a cruise in the Galapagos Islands. Plenty of water sports involved.

So many gorgeous covers! I don’t remember reading many books set by water but one that stands out is the Chesapeake Bay Saga by Nora Roberts, one of my favorite series <3 I recommend it to everyone! 🥰

I went in a similar direction with this week’s topic :). The Island of Sea Women is such a powerful book, and I really enjoyed Crawdads (even though I don’t think certain plot points make sense).
My initial reaction to Crawdads was positive but I’m less enthusiastic the more I think about It.
