For winter, I have four out of ten nonfiction titles on my TBR because of the wonderful recommendations I noted during Nonfiction November! I’m not a seasonal reader, but I’m eager to hunker down with some great nonfiction selections this winter!

I never plan more than ten titles for my quarterly TBR lists because I need to leave time for mood reading and review commitments. These ten books are a priority on a much longer general TBR.

    In Order To Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom. I have my eye on the 9/11 book too

    • That’s interesting! Thanks for sharing! I need to look that up! Sounds like a great companion read!
      I just read a review on Instagram of the 9-11 book and she said she needed to read it in small chunks because it was emotional and overwhelming…..especially for those of us who experienced that day I think!

  7. Born A Crime and The Poet X are both great, but I listened to The Poet X on audiobook, which I normally don’t. And I found it really great, read by the author. I’ve heard Born a Crime is really good as audio too, but the book was very good, regardless.

    • Thanks for the recs! Audio isn’t my first choice but I know some books are best on audio! I can imagine that Poet X is one of those! I listened to The Dutch House on audio (because Tom Hanks) and I can’t imagine reading it any other way! Thanks for commenting!

  13. I still haven’t read Borm a Crime yet either – and I plan to get to it next year. I’m going to listen to the audiobook, as I’ve heard really good things about experiencing it that way.
