Our extended family enjoyed a sweet celebration for our eagerly awaited and already treasured newest granddaughter!

Dog of the Year!
My sister is a diabetic and she has worked hard to train her beloved German Sheppard to detect high and low blood sugars. He doesn’t leave her side and is always on alert. Such a good boy! Dogs are amazing companions!

I love that you got a book signed <3 <3 I always love when authors have the time and energy to do that. I can bet their hands may hurt from signing a lot of books all the time. I think this is such a fun way to spread some good vibes around and I'm so glad you are taking part in it 🙂

It’s really my sister who’s so smart! She got a BOOK and after studying how to do it, she trained him herself!!! But yes…dogs are amazing!

Congratulations Carol on the new baby girl. That is so awesome for all of you. I love being a grandma, it is the best. I love that video. I enjoy watching when they get so excited and celebrate. I do watch baseball, but for some reason have not been following it this year. I just recently watched a clip about a dog trained for diabetics. That is wonderful that your sister has one that she loves. Sounds like a good week.
Yes, new grand babies are the best! Our 6 year old grandson (and his mom) live with us, so I’m lucky to see him every day!
Baseball is great to watch because you can multitask! I’m usually reading! The Nats are down 3-2…..a must win for them tonight.
Also, dogs that can do support work are the best! My sister trained her own dog!
