December Wrap Up

December Wrap Up

Because of December activities, I didn’t read my usual number of books. Plus, I abandoned two so that was discouraging. I did accomplish reading five books. Two of them were Middle Grade selections…..heartfelt and inspirational Middle Grade Literature is a perfect genre for busy seasons!

The Last Year of the War by Susan Meissner

(ARC: Pub Date: March 19, 2019: thanks #NetGalley and #BerkleyPublishing for a free copy of #TheLastYearoftheWar in exchange for my honest opinion)

(ARC: Pub Date: January 15, 2019: thanks #NetGalley and #RandomHouse for a free copy of #TheDreamers in exchange for my honest opinion)

  1. Oh I loved Dear Mrs Bird! December reading definitely needs to be light, totally agree with you there!

  2. I keep seeing THE DREAMERS, but I don’t read science fiction.

I am looking forward to reading THE LAST YEAR OF THE WAR…Susan Meissner is a favorite author, and historical fiction is a favorite genre.

My December reads will be tomorrow. I posted the best of 2018 today. 🙂

Looking forward to seeing your post of the best of 2018 tomorrow.

You had a good December….thanks for sharing.

    • Actually I don’t read sci-fi either and this was ok! Especially when I needed a lighter uncomplicated less intense read in December!

I think you’ll like the research Meissner did for her new release! I hope you enjoy it!

      Thanks for reading and commenting!
